Join us for the 28th Annual Bob Benson Memorial/4-H EXCELL Golf Tournament on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Plainview Country Club. This 4-person scramble offers prizes for the top three teams. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with the tournament beginning at 1:00 p.m.

We’ve hit our 20-team limit for the afternoon flight of the 28th Annual Bob Benson Memorial / 4-H EXCELL Golf Tournament on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025 at Plainview Country Club — so we’re opening the possibility of an 8:00 a.m. morning flight!

New registrations will go toward the morning list

Why we do, what we do-

Proceeds from the golf tournament will support two important South Plains 4-H activities:

• The Bob Benson Memorial 4-H Scholarship – Bob Benson was a longtime county agent in the South Plains 4-H, District 2, (Hale County). Bob lost his battle with cancer in August 1999, and a memorial educational scholarship was developed in Bob’s name for South Plains 4-H members. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be used to fund the scholarship.
• The 4-H EXCELL Scholarship – Fifty percent of the proceeds will be used to fund travel for South Plains 4-H members who have qualified for National 4-H activities or events. (i.e. State Winning Recordbooks, National Judging Contest).
